Long Sutton were away this week at top of the table Cambridge Nomads. Sutton didnt know what to expect and with the heat it looked like a hard task ahead. But Sutton made a very strong start and before they knew it they were 3 - 0 up, with all three goals coming from Rebecca Kierman. The first was a rebound after a shot from Melissa Ludlam, the second was a deflection on the post from a short corner and the third was another deflection infront of goal. Sutton finished off the goal scoring with a solo run from Bryony Normanton who flicked the ball home from the top of the 'D'. Player of the Match was Bryony Normanton, but every single player of the team deserves recognition for an exceptionally good team performance.
