LSHC Ladies First v Sudbury 2nds

Long Sutton were at home to Sudbury Ladies 2nd Team this week. Sutton started the game on top, not letting Sudbury out of their half, but failed to capitalise after numerous attempts on goal. After 20 minutes Sudbury had their first break of the game, seeing the Sutton defence let in a weak goal. Sutton continued to dominate but failed to score in the first half. The second half saw much of the same, with the post being hit three times, many shots off target and lots being given away to the opposition. But Sutton managed to pull a goal back with a reverse shot from Leanne Woodhead. The score ended a dissapointing 1-1, not reflecting the percentage possesssion or shots on target throughout the game. Sutton welcomed back Sally Cade this week, who recieved the player of the match reward.
