Sutton started their game very slowly but still managed to keep possession of the ball. They scored early on from Rebecca Kierman's dive in the 'D'. The second goal came shortly after when Charlene Leuty slotted the ball in, after a goal mouth scramble. Sutton then let their marking slip and allowed Horncastle to get a goal back. This spurred Sutton on and allowed them to take control of the game, seeing Bryony Normanton flick the ball into the net from the top of the 'D'. Sutton started the second half very strongly with Sophie Hart making some fantastic runs down the wing and many goal scoring chances appeared after this. The fourth goal came from a short corner then Melissa Ludlam deflected into the goal. The fifth came from Kierman once again. This meant the game finished 5-1 seeing Sutton sitting comfortably in second place in the table. Player of the Match was Sophie Hart.
