Long Sutton Ladies were away this week at Cambridge City. They started off well on top, playing down both flanks and causing Cambridge City's defence a lot of problems. Unluckily Sutton were unable to score, with Rebecca Kierman having numerous near misses. Shortly after Sutton had a short corner, but Melissa Ludlam's shot was saved on the line by a Cambridge players body. A penalty flick was awarded and Ludlam slotted it in to give Sutton the Lead. Minutes later Cambridge had the same fate and were awarded a penalty flick, which they scored to make the game level at half time. The second half saw much the same as the first, seeing Sutton well on top. Half way through Rachael Gadsden was pushed in the back whilst having a shot on goal, allowing Bryony Normanton to score from the third Penalty Flick of the game. Rachael Gadsden was named player of the match.
