Long Sutton took the first ten minutes of the game to settle into their stride, but after this they dominated the game. The passing flowed between the team and this showed after Sutton soon saw themselves 4 - 0 nil up. All four goals were scored from balls into the 'D' from the right that gave Rebecca Kierman a hatrick and Melissa Ludlam a goal. Sutton's marking slipped slightly and this allowed Sudbury to steal a goal back to make the score 4-1. Sutton stepped up their game again, putting a lot of pressure on the Sudbury defence. This allowed them to score their 5th goal seeing Ludlam dribble round the Sudbury defence and slot the ball home. The 6th goal came from a drag flick on a short corner from Bryony Normanton, that a Sudbury defender deflected past their keeper. The final 7th goal came from Jess Hudson scoring her first goal of the season, with a fantastic strike from the top of the D. Rebecca Kierman got named player of the match. This win meant that Long Sutton secured a top of the table position going into the christmas holidays.
