Long Sutton fought hard and played most of the match in the opposition half but two quick breaks by Roses sealed their win.
Suttons midfield worked hard and Emma Howells crosses were wasted by Suttons forward line. Sutton failed to convert a penalty flick and this was the story of the game.
Roses defended well, but Sutton were disappointed with their loss. Player of the match was Helen Worth.
Consolation cakes were baked by Jayme Hunt who was 16 today.
