Long Sutton were unlucky on Saturday as a much improved performance left them with nothing. Sutton started much brighter than last week and took the game to Blueharts. Sutton created some good chances and broke the deadlock when Hales rounded the keeper and squared to Cook to slot home with his first touch of the game. Blueharts responded and showed some of their quality, only the outstanding Jake Loweth stopping their attacks. Sutton worked hard the scorching heat but switched off for 2 minutes to allow Blueharts to equalise. The second half was much like the first, both teams creating chances and again Man of the Match Jake Loweth pulling off some magical saves. Blueharts managed to break away and slot home the winner but Sutton will take this much improved performance into next week.
