Sutton started under pressure on Saturday, as they tried to get used to the bouncy water-based pitch. Harleston controlled the play and eventually opened the scoring. Sutton slowly started to get a foothold in the game and some excellent work from Featherstone and Cook down the left flank caused Harleston a few problems. After the break, Sutton took the game to Harleston pushing higher up the pitch and creating some good chances. Against the run of play Harelston doubled their lead but this spurred Sutton on even more, especially when Harelston lost their keeper for deliberately stopping the ball outside the D. Sutton capitalised and got a goal back through Ellis. Sutton had golden opportunities to equalise, but like games before, they were not clinical enough in front of an open goal. After 5 minutes, the Harleston keeper was allowed back on and at full strength again Harleston scored. Sutton continued to press forward and again created some good chances. Sutton then went down to 10 men themselves and Harelston capitalised by adding a 4th. Sutton kept battling until the end but it was in vain against stronger opposition.

Man of the match was Jamie Featherstone.
