Sutton started this Prem B game like last weeks performance was a distant memory. Pace, speed and precision were all on show as Sutton pushed forward and deservedly opened the scoring, Gary Hales beautifully slotting the ball under the advancing keeper. Sutton then took their foot off the gas and allowed Crostyx to gather momentum and have some good possession of their own. After Loweths good save the ball cruelly deflected up and spun into the open goal allowing Crostyx to equalise. Crostyx then took the lead again from a short corner. However, the last play of the half was a short corner for Sutton. Fyson unleashed a thunderbolt which hit the keeper and flew into the the roof of the net bringing the game level. Sutton started the second half well but It it was Crostyx who had the first chance to take the lead trough a penalty stroke. Fortunately man of the match Loweth wasn't going to be beaten and made a terrific save. Sisson then got Sutton a flick of their own after some excellent play rounding several players. Skipper Harrison stepped up and calmly slotted the ball home to put Sutton in the lead. Crostyx then came at Sutton again and again. The twin towers of Baguley and Shore stood firm whilst Taylor and Fyson supported them excellently. Unfortunately Crostyx did manage to equalise but it was through another short corner. The game was anybody's after this with both teams having chances but a share of the spoils was the fairest result.
