 Whilst the scoreline would suggest a disappointing performance from Sutton, in truth it was far from it. Defeat against a very strong Newmarket team, who won their division last year only losing one game and who, looking at this years results, are playing below their level again, is nothing to lose heart over.

4-0 down at half time, the whole side played with spirit and a togetherness that ensured that whilst the result was never going to be in doubt, Sutton could walk off at the end with their heads held high.

Difficult to pick out individual performances when everyone worked hard but James Cliff in goal and Simon Clarke deserve special mentions.
