LSHC Mens' Fourth v Spalding 4ths
Played Away on 26th November 2011
Long Sutton 4ths got off to a great start defending well and tracking players in the first half keeping the spalding 4ths at bay, Sutton continued to build with a couple of chances in the first half, by half time it was scoreless, one of the best starts of the season.
Spalding came back fighting hard in the second half scoring a goal from open play. This did not deter Sutton who continued to fight and moved the ball well in the midfield with Ian White and Lee Cousins mixing the play up. Then a break from Sutton with George Smith receiving the ball at the top of the D beat his man to score and bring things level.
Then Spalding won a short corner and drag flicked one in at the near post, this did not stop Sutton who continued to push and hold possession but could not get any finishes past the Spalding goalie. A very good game!
