We were pleased to be playing at home and with a sub as we knew Spalding wouldn't be easy opposition. Within 10 minutes Spalding got it through to the back post and got it round Emily. 1-0 to Spalding. Another 10 minutes and we faced a short corner. Spalding managed to hit it past us into the corner. 2-0 to Spalding. Yet another 10 minutes and we conceded another goal from open play. 3-0 to Spalding. Half time.

We held them off for a while, but then we faced a short corner. Spalding made the most of it to score their 4th goal. 4-0 to Spalding. We tried our best to attack Spalding's goal, winning a few short corners. Unfortunately we couldn't convert any of them, although we came very close. Not long before the final whistle we faced another Spalding attack. They ran into the D and managed to get a shot off and into the goal. 5-0 to Spalding. Amber Jones won player of the match for her constant driving the ball up the pitch.
