Sutton right the wrongs of weeks previous.

Looking to get some much needed and frankly and much deserved points on the board Sutton toll the game to cambs from the off, quickly finding themselves 2-0 up inside 10 minutes. Fyson opening his tally from a nearly taken short corner and Nick Ellis with a fine shot from top D into the bottom corner. Where in previous the team may of slowed down the pace the team continued in the same vein and again punished the away teams defence. Fyson adding his second with a reverse through the keepers legs and Tyler slapping a Brad Sargeant cross into the netting. Half time 4-0 long Sutton.

Whilst Sutton started the second half in the same vein they were unfortunate to concede a goal first off in the second half. This spurred the side on and soon made it impossible for ball to leave the Cambridge half. The defence of Holmes,Oldfield and Donaghy working the ball around the back well and upward to the forwards who were unfortunate to not add to the score line. Baker the most noteable hitting post and crossbar with his effort. Rarely seen in hockey is a keeper sent off and so 15 minutes Cambridge's keeper went for his 5 minute sit down after his words with the umpires. Fighting hard to add to the tally it was only Fyson who could finish his hat-rick with a neat deflection over the last two defenders sticks. Keeper back on Fyson was not finished and added his fourth and final of the day tapping high into the goal. 10 minutes to play and looking unlikely to stop baker added his goal to the game with a neat reverse and proctor finished scoring for the day tapping in a Jackson cross. Cambridge fought hard and there short corners were well defended as Sutton saw out their victory. Final score 8-1 long Sutton
