On rather brisk Saturday afternoon with 40 mph winds and abit of sideways rain snow and whatever storm Arwen would've liked to have thrown at us the men in green faced second from bottom st Neots 1st. Looking to bounce back from weeks previous they set continue there run of dominance and home.

As they game got under way it was clear goals were to be had for long Sutton baker finishing a nice solo goal in the first 5 minutes. It was in the vein that the majority of the game would continue as proctor batten and baker would continue to test the Neots keeper. Batten would soon add the second with good work building up to this from Luke Jackson, Dom Ibrahim and Josh fyson. This was quickly followed up by Josh Fyson short corner goal to make the lead 3-0. Sutton could've added more before half time but with good work from the st Neots keeper and sutton side unable to capitalise in the D the half would end 3-0.

The second half started in the same vein fyson added his second early into the half with nearly picking up the loose ball and flicking into the net. It would be about this time that Sutton's pressure would ceed and Neots would begin to create some chances. The defence of Simon Clarke, Dan Oldfield and Sam Gray held firm as Neots attack seemed to fizzle as soon as they entered our 23. St Neots would eventually capitalise from one of 3 of there shorts corners won to work in past the keeper and the helpless fyson on the post. This would go onto to spurt Sutton into an a high press to punish the defence into making mistakes in which they did and a nice tackle and drive across the baseline from Olly Taylor lead to an easy tap in for Josh Bakers second of the afternoon. Swiftly followed by a tap on for Proctor after good work from Frazer Watt and Josh Baker to set up the chance. Sutton kept driving, chances came and went but the score line would not change for the long Sutton men and final score ended 6–1.
