Away days to Cambridge city are always a dreaded undertaking. Throw in the fact of a weakened Sutton side of just 11 and a couple of niggljng injuries showing there head during the game, the odds were stacked against the men in green. It's doesn't mean the team didn't fight and did acctually start the better of the two sides. Josh Baker scoring just 15 seconds into the opening exchanges. Sutton would allow pressure into themselves for the next 30 minutes, pressure which told as Cambs would go on to score 4 goals of there own all coming from short corners either directly or from 2 flicks after the ball hit the postmen on both occasions. The final 5 minutes of the half was much brighter and chance came as the side missed chances they prehaps would've scored in previous weeks Baker and Josh Fyson the unluckiest of the bunch. It would be Dom Ibrahim that woidl alter the tally, Beating 2 defenders and finishing neatly into the corner.

Sutton never really came out the blocks in the second half chances and short corners and came to no aveil. The weakened defence struggled to cope after loosing Donaghy and Sam Gray to separate injuries. This would lead to Cambridge scoring 5 more unanswered goals. A game of what ifs and maybes as Sutton look to build on what they've learnt as they are set to return to the same ground and play Cambs Vets next week.

Motm Olly Taylor for a particularly good outing on a hard day for the recent debutant.
