Another local derby against also recently relegated Spalding's 3rd team. In the first half was a very stalemated affair with Spalding being halted at the 25 and missing chances inside the D, the only goal for Sutton coming from MOTM James Collingwood Smith when he came 1v1 against the keeper and put it past him and into the middle of the goal. Spalding retaliated and scored an equaliser 5 minutes later.

The second half was a more one-sided affair with Sutton controlling the play in both halves of the pitch with 4 more goals, 2 from Hagan including a deflected lob over the keeper and 2 from James Collingwood Smith who on two occasions was there on the post to put the ball in the net, this was compared to Spalding's one which again came from a team move and some player tapping in at back post. Spalding fought hard till the very end and was unfortunate throughout the half to add more goals to the sheet but came away with a comfortable win to move them 5 points clear on the top spot
