A hard fought game for the young Sutton side this week but the frosty feeling was soon shaken off early doors with a well worked goal. Fyson, dominating the centre all game, channeled a perfect pass through to Jackson who neatly took it around the keeper to open the score. 1-0. Cat-like reflexes from M. Braginton saw off all City of Peterborough's early chances. Braginton brothers Jack and Harry showing some great defending helping their dad mop up at the back too. Returning M Holmes and J Ripley also showing displays of key defending when needed.

It was hard to see why COP were battling in the relegation zone of 4NW but it soon became clear with one player picking up a yellow card for dissent and the team continuously a peeling to the umpires, over shadowed a good performance for them. It would be J C Smith who would rack up the 50th goal of the season for the team with a burst of pace from Jackson finding Smith begging at the back post. 2-0

The second half had Sutton on the back foot however. COP finding the net off a short corner within minutes and Brad, would had fought hard all game, gain a back injury, M Holmes ankle given way and J C Smith taking a nasty hit to face causing a tooth loss. Sutton hanging on to the final whistle and gaining another 3 points.
