A sunny day in Skeggy, always pleases players and a 3-0 win to go along with it.

A third consecutive clean sheet for MOM Matt Braginton wasn't his only highlight. Braginton using his cat-like reflex's in several situations the Alford team fired upon him.

Alford somewhat pickled the Sutton side in talks during and after the game, complementing them on their fight and determination within the game.

Alford with a more dominant first half, piled the pressure on and sutton struggled to find their regular standing ground. It was thanks to Si Clarke, Matt Holmes, Josh Ripley and Jack Braginton holding firm and the rear the Sutton side eventually bounced back.

Hard work shone through from Jimmy Harrison, Brad Sargent and Joshua Fyson working tirelessly in the centre and McKenzie East, Luke Proctor and Harry Braginton gifting some vital aid on the flanks. A neat deflection saw James Collingwood Smith opening up the score 1-0.

A second goal soon followed from a fierce shot delivered from McKenzie East. 2-0.

After allowing frustration to settle in, Luke Jackson returned off the sideline and within minutes, silenced Alford with a neat finish assisted by Josh Fyson. 3-0.

Though the sutton side won 3-0, many chances went begging with open goal opportunities missed and lack of short corner put away.

Sutton look to improve form these next two weeks with two vital home games and hoping to gain more goals to the overall tally and clean sheets along with them.
