For the second time in a fortnight long Sutton's second team travelled to Cambridge, this week it was the unbeaten cambs uni who put Sutton to the test. The team knew if they were to take anything from this game they knew the yd need to work hard and most importantly as a team to keep the young opposition at bay and that's exactly what they did the press working excellently and left the uni defence had very little in the way of forward passing options. As expected, they did eventually score from an open play deflection. Spurred on Sutton soon gained chances of their own loan front man Jackson unlucky on occasion. half ended 1-0 Second half started and legs-tired uni found gaps and a quick goal and a penalty stroke put them well into the lead but a quick goal from Josh Fyson gave us a glimmer of hope only for Sutton to concede once more from open play minutes later. 10 minutes left to play and loosing Josh Ripley through head injury the team dug deep defended meticulously and again Fyson found the back of the goal this time from a short corner drag flick but unfortunately was too little too late as the time left couldn't help the side to lower the deficit or gains anything from the game.
