Sutton went away to face Bourne Deeping 5ths and went into the game with a big return for Mark Ridington and welcomed his two sons Charlie and Freddie aswell. All there played well and helped Sutton play well together. We started off with Bourne attacking and our defence had to deal with multiple short corners against us and keeper Adam Sisson keeping them out. From open play Bourne were able to put one past us and gain the lead. This happens once more in the first half and it ended 2-0 down at half time. In the second half, Sutton were awarded a short corner and Mark Ridington stepped up the top of the D and received the ball and powered one into the bottom corner to make it 2-1. Soon after Mckenzie's East made a run down the left wing and got round multiple defenders and with a reverse shot sent the ball right into the net and tie the game up. After this Bourne were on the attack again and a shot was drilled in, Jack Smith got a touch on it to try and glance it wide but ended up putting it past his own keeper giving Bourne the lead again. This lead Sutton heads to drop and Bourne were able to get short corners and finished them well to make the end result 6-2.
