This week the 3s faced Bourne Deeping 5ths, this week who are top of the league so we faced an uphill battle. In the first half Sutton Sutton defended well and got the ball out to our midfield and attackers letting us move forward and make some attacks, none of these ended up in goal but they had great promise. Bourne has a strong team and attacked well together and overwhelmed us at the back and were able to get a goal. At the end of the first half, Sutton were down 1-0.

In the second half Bourne came at us even harder and we were forced to defend as well as we could. These attacks led to some short corners and some were converted to goal and some of the attacks made open play goals. Near the end of the game, the ball was hit out of our defence to Adam Pack who used some skill and his pace to get around there midfield and into the D, he drew the keeper out and passed the ball to Charlie Ridington who scored our goal. The game ended up as a 5-1 loss.
