Outnumbered but not overmatched, Sutton fought bravely against local rivals Wisbech. Sutton's youngsters were always going to be up against it, fielding only ten players due to a late call off, and when James Collingwood-Smith picked up an injury it was effectively 11 versus 9. That said, the silky skills of Harry Braginton and Will Taylor carved out an opening for Adam Sisson to stroke the ball home nonchalantly for a half time lead. In the second half though Wisbech woke up to their numerical advantage and there was nothing Sutton's tired troops could do to prevent a succession of balls shelled into a crowded D, which led to the home side's goals. Tyler Hagan played a storming match in goal, and it took a couple of wicked deflections to beat him. Lewis Shooter, Kieran Forrest and Ed Munson all did sterling work in defence, Josh Lambert showed intelligent use of the ball and Andy Clarke had one of his more influential outings.
