MATCH REPORT
LSHC Mens' Fourth v Leadenham 2
Played Home on 26th November 2016Long Sutton's young side faced one of the stronger teams in the division knowing they would have to play well to get something from the game. The away side started well and were soon in the lead after a well worked goal. Sutton's defense worked hard to keep the score down after some consistent pressure from the away team, Forrest ,Munson and Kan sticking to their task extremely well backed up with some fine saves from Hagan .Sutton did have some good attacking play with White and Saponenko leading the counter attacks but the HT score was 0-1. The second half Sutton worked tirelessly but Leadenham proved they have the quality to be challenging for the league, final score was 0-5 but the young players never dropped their heads and worked hard until the final whistle, MOTM Saponenko was always a danger going forward with his skills and pace , a special mention to Alvin Kan who played his best game so far for the club which included making a fantastic goal line clearance,
