Today we traveled away to the lovely town of Kings Lynn to play Pelicans 3rds.

Well what a strange match, the score does not reflect the game at all. Pelicans got a goal in the first half that we watch go in as we thought it was out of the D the umpire gave the goal. So we pressed on winning a short corner. We work our magic again and scored (Aimee) a short corner which took us to 1-1.

Some great work from our goalie this week (Chantil) who worked together with (Lynne)some great sweeps out of the D. Julie, George and Lexi also defending the goal pushing the Pelican's out. So at half time it was 1-1. The second half starts well, we are getting it up the field (Katie, Penny, Lillie) working together to get the ball up to our half where Sarah, Alison and Annabelle are waiting to take the ball into our D. The game went from end to end with the Pelicans scoring another goal.

Lexi was playing fantastically pushing the ball all the way to our D but unfortunately she was taken out and the game had to be stopped for at least 15- 20 minutes. With no subs the game carried on we lost our way having stopped for so long and we just couldn't come back from it the game ended 4-1. We go again next week, well done everyone you did Long Sutton proud.
