With only eleven players today as Alison was poorly we had our team talk, great warm up and with Jack on the sideline to help us, Long Sutton was ready for a battle and one they were up for winning. Push back was won by Long Sutton, we were a team not to be messed with we pushed the ball into Peterborough' s half and we stayed there for most of the first half. If Peterborough came into our half the ball was batted back out by our amazing defenders Claire, Sarah, Julie. George.

Midfield Emma, Katie, Lillie and Aimee all worked as a unit making runs with the defence backing them up and they were then able to push up more to make the runs to then pass some great ball on to Annabelle who ran into there D but no goals came off but you could feel that this was as going to come as we were definitely donating the game. Halftime came with a 0-0 score. Jack gave us a very upbeat team talk and just told us how we could improve on a few bits, but could say very little, he said he couldn't fault how we were playing and that a goals were coming.

The second half started but Long Sutton soon took the game up to their half again gaining some attacking short corners but didn't manage to get a goal this time. Long Sutton pushed hard and Annabelle had a great run and managed to pull of a great goal 1-0. The Peterbourgh side managed to get the ball down their end but with one swoop from Ellie the ball was quickly put out of play.

Long Sutton went on to get a couple of defensive short but Peterbourgh had no chance getting through our great defence. Long Sutton continued to have some great runs and being awarded an attacking short corner Katie managed to get on the end of it to scored and great goal, this took Long Sutton to 2-0.

Long Sutton were never going to give up and with everyone pushing up into Peterborough's Chantil was giving it her all passing the ball into the D but our third goal final came from another great run and a few passes from Annabelle's stick. The final score was 3-0 win.

As captain today I couldn't have been more proud of this team. They came to todays game with so much energy and put everything into this game. What an amazing season we have had!!! I can't thank you enough for all the training you have done week on week and have bought it with you to the game. You always hold your heads high and give it everything. POTM going to Annabelle
