The game started with Sutton in a positive mood attacking from the first whistle. With Ellis, Clarke and Taylor absent it was down to the youngsters to fill big shoes and do the running for the remaining senior members of the team . Hales opened the scoring in the first ten minutes with a reverse stick shot and within the first 20 Sutton were 3-0 up with Hales bagging a hat trick capitalising on the smart play from centre midfield and a short corner one two with Markillie. The defence were pushing high as they wandered up pitch to get in on some of the action leaving Braginton to watch from the back. Just before half time Sutton killed the game off when Hales bagged his fourth following a goalmouth scramble. Fully refuelled the second half started brightly as Hagan slotted one home following some smooth team play that increased the target for the visitors. Whilst the second half wasn't the goal frenzy of the first there was further good attacking play from Synott, Taylor and H Braginton. A clean sheet for Braginton senior and a solid all round defensive performance .
