Long Sutton's penultimate game of the season saw them hosting Upminster. Sutton started brightly with some excellent passing and sharp runs down both wings. This pressure lead to upminster's keeper being peppered with shots from Ben Shore, Matt Goodley and Josh Fyson. One of Fyson's finally got cleared as far as Ben Shore on the top of the D who slotted it away to put Sutton ahead. This was the tone for most of the game with Upminster's keeper making fantastic save after save leaving Sutton still 1 goal ahead when they might have been 4 or 5 up against a weekend defence. As Sutton started to tire and lose concentration, upminster, who hasn't looked like scoring all game were able to make a quick break and get an equaliser. This was followed up moments later by another, leaving Sutton 2-1 down and wondering what might of been had they finished more of their chances.
