Sutton entered this friendly confident after the last few weeks. As the game started it was end to end with Leadenham looking most likely to score with brilliant work from Holmes King Smith and Munson to keep the visitors at bay. this was the trend for the majority of the half and 1 minute before the end of the half Sutton gained the lead through A Gary Hales short corner. half ended 1-0 Sutton. During the second half Sutton halted and Leadenham took full advantage and scored two quick goal in the first five minutes of the half. After this Sutton fought hard for the but were unable to convert. A hard fought battle which Sutton were unfortunate not to come out on top it was brilliant to see everyone working hard and playing for everyone else on the team to the very end. Player of the match this week goes to Matt Holmes for consistent work rate keeping the Leadenham attackers at bay for a good majority of the game The thirds have their eyes set back onto winning ways going into next week's game against Spalding
